Neste estudo,
utilizou-se uma imagem SAR nas polariza{\c{c}}{\~o}es VV e VH no
formato Single Look Complex.
atributos Entropia e {\^A}ngulo alfa.
discriminar as classes.
81,0% e {\'{\I}}ndice Kappa de 0,75. ABSTRACT: This work aimed
to evaluate the capacity of polarimetric data from Sentinel-1A to
discriminate land cover typologies in area of influence of the
Amazon forest. This study used a SAR image in the VV and VH
polarizations in the configuration Single-Look-complex. A
covariance matrix was generated from the image and the H-Alpha
target decomposition theorem was applied. Based on this, the
attributes Entropy and Alpha angle were generated. The radiometric
calibration was also performed, which enabled the extraction of
the backscattering coefficients for the VH and VV polarizations.
Following, the attributes and coefficients that had the best
potential for class discrimination were selected. The Support
Vector Machine algorithm was used for the image classification,
and a 0.75 Kappa with global accuracy of 81.0% was achieved from
the combination of the backscattering in the VH polarization and
the polarimetric attribute Entropy.",
